The very mention of his name sends a thrill down my spine. How different is his approach to playing various
character on stage and silver screen! A well renowned stage artist but with a difference, for that reason only, nay for many more reasons, one can view him hopefully from different angles. Any sane audience unhesitatingly associate Tapan Das’ style of functioning with Einsteins’ ‘Theory of
Relativity’. My humble confession from the seat of audience, therefore, may be one more viewpoint that only
by committing mistakes, one can however be able to be on the right path, no matter committing how many mistakes.

Description

One is not a born pioneer, but becomes one by dint of his
sheer sincerity, devotion and commitment to profession he or she
professes. Tapan Das, a stage artist is an example. Alex D Figo
analyses and highlights Das’ decade long experimentation-how best
to elevate and up-date stage technique and dialoguing by application
of Einstein’s Theory of Relativity.
Das, in the mean time, has unlocked many mysteries of drama
technicalities which Alex D Figo takes up as a theme and explainsin
line of Theory of Relativity ie, E=mc2. Here m is mass and c2 is velocity
of light square. Figo appears a staunch analyser of Das. Both of
them are on the same boat, ie, the stage performers.
